Coordinated School Health Initiative (CSH)

Coordinated School Health (CSH) is a model developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to systematically improve children’s health by integrating health strategies of schools, public health agencies, families, and community leaders through schools.

Services

The Picard Center offers the following services to school districts and schools:

  • Assisting in creation of positive, working relationships;
  • Collecting relevant, meaningful data about your district or school;
  • Supporting the integration of collected data in planning the implementation of CSH;
  • Offering technical assistance toward the successful implementation of CSH; and
  • Providing ongoing evaluation of the CSH implementation process.
