The Picard Center has initiated a new opportunity to share, discuss, and collaborate on research, and we want to invite everyone who is interested in networking and discussing their research efforts. There is a plethora of research and other activities going on within the Picard Center and at the University, yet we do not always know what our colleagues and neighbors are interested in and what they are working on. The Research Brown Bag meetings are meant for researchers to share their knowledge, experience, and ideas and to network with other potential research collaborators.
On the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, the Picard Center hosts the Research Brown Bag meetings from 9:30a-10:30a in the Executive Conference Room. The meetings are a fairly informal way to present research findings, get feedback about ideas for projects or activities, get input regarding challenges or issues in ongoing research, grapple with methodology, perhaps find collaborators, and discuss current issues or new dilemmas for research in general. Dr. Paula Zeanah, Director of Research at the Picard Center, envisions these meetings to be useful not only to the presenter, but also to the attendees.
The meetings are cataloged and presented on our website for future reference. Contact information is provided, and all communications are welcome.
