Welcome to our new grad assistant and our new student workers for the Spring 2022 semester. 

Graduate Assistant

Owolabi Akanni is a chemical engineering graduate student. He is a skilled Quality Control Analyst that enjoys contributing to the improvement of quality in whatever position he is employed. In 2021, he received his M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from UL Lafayette. He was able to publish two papers in respected journals while pursuing his first master's degree. In his spare time, he enjoys watching basketball and soccer.

Student Workers

Kailee Colon is a current freshman majoring in Visual Arts with a concentration in Computer Art and Animation. With her drawings and pieces, she hopes to help the team visually express their projects to help others understand the true messages brought forth by the Picard Center Team.
Gabbie Dietel is working on her bachelor’s degree in Biology at UL Lafayette. She is thrilled to work on a research project for child development.
 

 

Magnolia Canfield is from Pineville, Louisiana. She graduated from Pineville High School and is attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Magnolia is majoring in English, and she is a member of the university’s Honors Program, as well as the National Society of Leadership and Success. In the future she plans to pursue a graduate degree in creative writing.

Grace Brasseaux is from Bunkie, Louisiana. She is currently a sophomore at ULL majoring in psychology with a minor in child and family studies. After graduation, Grace hopes to attend graduate school for a degree in school psychology. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, babysitting, and spending time with her family.
